Networking Bull Market for local charities
4 years and getting stronger! The BullRun, Birmingham’s biggest charity pub crawl, brain child of Bart Dalton of the Mercantile Club, yet again raised a great deal of money for two local charities Kerrang Cash for Kids and Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice on Thursday 5th July 2012.
Based around the festival of San Fermin, the running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain, this annual event brings together people from all types of businesses including professional services, creative, property and manufacturing in a relaxed, social environment and to where networking comes naturally.
150 people spread over two teams of “Pub Crawlers” started off from St Pauls Club and The Old Contemptibles and wound their ways through the city.
“It is great to see so many familiar faces as well as new ones each year. This is a great event that is so beneficial to my business connections and it’s great fun too!” said Gary Wroe of Pure Fine Jewellery.
Be on the look out for some Stars and Stripes in the streets for Bull Run Numero V. The Mercantile Club are very excited as next year with San Fermin and the 4th of July.
“This has been an amazing year for our company and I could not think of a better way to spend time with my team.” John Griffiths of Gritt & Co. Chuckled as he said from underneath his cowboy hat.
